Mirror

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Reflecting what is in its sight and all

Of life’s rise and  fall
Be it short or tall
Whether it is big or small
By choosing either  to walk or to crawl
Either to finish it quick or choosing to stall
Either by going under or leaping over each wall

What does the mirror shows?
Is it happiness?
With a face so bright and a smile topping it off?
Is it sadness?
With a face so pale, spelling emptiness and sorrowful feeling?
Is it anger?
With face flushed in red, filled with only rage and hatred?
Or is it a bit of everything?
For there will always be some who are feigning what are felt
Hidden under a mask they created

It’s not about what is shown
For the correct way to look at it
Is what are chosen to be seen
By those who were looking at the
Mirror, mirror on the wall

For a rainbow to be in sight
there is a need for it to rain
the hopeful souls pray for it to rain
when rainbow appears after raining
it is truly one of the nature's greatest gift
but then,
a rainbow does not exists each and every time after it rains
thus they ask for the sun to shine again
for it is too gloomy of a weather

When it is too cold of a condition
that the chills get down to the spines
the sun's ray is the best
for providing warmth and heat
to the shivering souls
but when the sun's ray gets too hot to bear
that the water was all dried up
those souls ask for it to rain
so that the pouring water would cool down the heat
but when it rains too long of a period
they hope for the sun to shine brightly
taking the damp condition away
drying the droplets of water that have fallen to the ground

Happiness is what they say
when they achieved something that they really hope for
in contradiction, they asks for other things
when what they had been hoping for is granted

So
what is happiness, really?
can it ever be defined?
can it ever be pictured?
because none of them had a clue
in the pursuit of happiness
in life's journey

Being a person - without the need to fake it

Crying
because of the emptiness
but with no tears to shed

Wailing
the heart is
for it is hurting

Screaming
the self is
for living like this is tiring

The need to constantly faking it
even if to reveal the real is way off the limit
in avoiding getting tangled and lose own peace
it is deemed better to assume things as it is
even if it is not the right thing
is it fair?
to assume something which is not even there?

A person, a human
with soul and emotion
is not an object build to wait and act on other's direction

Having no intention
of bringing tension into creation
take time to be in an exact situation
and react according to the condition
it doesn't have to be every time
it is enough if it can be done sometime

As a person
who is far from perfection
each has their own weakest moment......
